The girl who saved a tree

About the Book

The Girl Who Saved a Tree is based on first hand experience studying the effects of climate change and deforestation in the Amazon rainforest. The book teaches children about the importance of protecting our natural world. In the story, a girl saves a tree from bulldozers as they move in to tear down the Amazon rainforest. By saving the tree, the girl helps save the many animals and plants that call the forest home.
